Breaking news – we are up to the stage of pugging the cottage! It’s been five years getting to this moment and, even though there are still some tasks to do before we can call the project finished, this is a BIG milestone. And you’re invited! Come and learn pugging techniques, get your hands dirty, and be part of the conservation work. It’s not often we have the opportunity to be hands-on in something like this – up until now, the actual work has mostly been done by the expert heritage builders, and it’s wonderful to be able to actually do something physical ourselves.
It’s all happening from Wednesday, 27th November to Sunday 1st December. It’s free to join in, but registrations are essential, so contact us if you are interested. And if you’re just celebrating in spirit with us, that’s great too!
