GJ Rechner featured at Migration Museum exhibition

Migration museum launch opening

18th November 2021:

Pave the Way is an exhibition currently running at the Migration Museum in Kintore St, Adelaide. It commemorates the early migrants of South Australia and the contribution they have made to the state. Migrants have come to South Australia since the 1830’s, from over 90 different countries. In this exhibition their unique stories are told through photographs and words.  Our very own GJ Rechner is one of the people featured. So go along and have a look. Whilst there, you can also search for his paver in Settlement Square at the Museum.

There was a special afternoon tea and launch of this exhibition at the Migration Museum in Adelaide. Our committee member, Robyn, was able to go along and represent the family, and really enjoyed it.

The exhibition runs until 22nd February, 2022. The museum is open from 10 am-5 pm daily, and admission is free.
