Without you, our amazing supporters, we could not do what we do. It is thanks to your interest, enthusiasm and generous donations (big or small) that the work of conserving the cottage has been made possible. Thank you!

Supporters of the month
Pat and Leslie Mullen
Pat is the granddaughter of Reginald and Rita Grant. Reg (born Kurt Alexander Rechner) was the son of Adolph Rechner – GJ and Bertha’s 5th living child. Originally from Tanunda, sometime after the war he took up farming in Wagin, WA, and so we have a branch of the family over there.
Pat and her husband Leslie made the long trip over to LightPass earlier this year, and were thrilled to see the cottage. Pat credits her nephew with bringing her attention to their family history, and she is really enjoying finding out more about it. They are wonderfully supportive and encouraging of the work that is being done.
Would you like to be a supporter of the month? We’d love to celebrate you. Send us a photo, and let us know your connection to the cottage, and why you are happy to help conserve it.
